With the trouble in paradise over, in a ‘kind of’ shocking turn of events, and all the drama surrounding British-born Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom put to rest, their luxury mansion is now not up for grabs anymore.
Amir Khan has taken his £1.2 million home off the market just days after reconciling with model wife Faryal Makhdoom.
Khan, who will appear on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, put his huge glass-fronted home up for sale in June amid reports he had filed for divorce in the wake of a bitter family feud.
The pair became embroiled in an explosive public war of words which saw Faryal labelled a ‘gold digger’ and accused of sleeping with world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
Not just that but news was abuzz that Amir was ‘turned off’ by his wife due to her excessive plastic surgeries, comparing her to Kylie Jenner – but all that controversial talk has died down now that the couple has patched up.
It’s official: Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom back together
Their home, just like their relationship is beyond dramatic!
It boasts an indoor swimming pool decorated with a mosaic of a pair of boxing gloves with the initials ‘AK’ on them.
The property also has a hot tub, steam room and gym.
Meanwhile, the upstairs features a huge open plan kitchen and lounge, which doubles as a games room, while Khan also installed a pool table and home cinema system.
The 2,080 sq ft, L-shaped bungalow opposite has four bedrooms – three with en-suite bathrooms – a lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, conservatory and double garage.
Khan’s detached house – three miles outside of his hometown of Bolton – was lauded online by Rightmove.
A posting on its website read: ‘The full specification of this exceptional property can only be appreciated by personal inspection whereby viewers will then experience the tremendous statement it makes with an ambiance of comfort, health and well being.’
The announcement comes days before Bolton-born Khan was due to touch down in Australia after signing up for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
His reconciliation with Faryal, who is pregnant with their second child, will dash show chiefs’ hopes of a jungle romance.
The house, which was initially listed at £1.6million but brought down to £1.2million, has also been removed from the Rightmove website.
Reports had previously suggested Khan, who touched down in Australia earlier this week, would not go on I’m A Celeb because his Muslim faith would cause issues with some of the show’s eating trials.
